Belvoir Bouncy Castle Hire Nottingham - Terms & Conditions of Hire

These guidelines are provided for the safety of persons using this equipment, and it is the responsibility of YOU, THE HIRER to ensure that these safety guidelines are fully adhered to at all times and that all possible steps are taken to avoid injury to any persons or damage to the inflatable:

The inflatable is for use strictly by the ages specified. Under no circumstances are adults permitted to use anything but an Adult Castle. This is due to safety, manufacturing and insurance reasons.

The hirer is fully responsible for the inflatable during the hire period and must ensure that the inflatable is clean and undamaged, fair wear and tear excepted, on return.

The hirer shall be liable for the full cost of any repairs or cleaning of the inflatable. If soiling should occur, the hirer can clean the inflatable with a damp cloth and warm soapy water only. Solvents or other chemical cleaning fluids MUST NOT be used. Face paints must be cleaned off immediately otherwise they will permanently stain the material - wet wipes are good for this!

The hirer is responsible for the safe use of the inflatable. The hirer is responsible for any accidents, injuries or losses whilst the inflatable is on hire, except when operated by a Belvoir Bouncy Castle operative. The hirer is strongly advised to take out public liability insurance for the duration of the hire of the inflatable.

Do not allow party poppers, coloured streamers, silly string, sand, cigarettes, chewing gum, food or drink to be used/consumed on or near the inflatable.

The hirer must not allow overcrowding of the inflatable. The amount of children must be kept to a safe and sensible level. We advise that no more than 6 children be allowed onto the inflatable at any one time.

The hirer must not allow children to climb or hang off the walls of the inflatable, and must stop any boisterous or rough play, including somersaults or back flips etc.

The hirer must ensure that smaller and more timid children are not to be allowed onto the inflatable at the same time as older or more boisterous children.

The hirer must ensure that children remove shoes, spectacles, jewellery, badges, buckles and any other hard, sharp or dangerous objects prior to using the inflatable. Socks must be worn at all times.

The hirer is responsible for ensuring that the inflatable is only used by children whilst under constant adult supervision.
The inflatable will only be set up by on a grassed area, where it can be pegged down securely (For indoor hire the inflatable will be weighted down with sand bags specifically supplied for the purpose).

The hirer is not permitted to re-site the inflatable once it has been set up. Please contact us if you require assistance.

The hirer must ensure that children are not permitted on the inflatable whilst it is being inflated or deflated.

The hirer must ensure that children with a history of back or neck problems are not permitted to use the inflatable.

The hirer must ensure that the front step is only used to enter or exit the inflatable. Children are not permitted to bounce on the front step.

If outdoors, the hirer must ensure the inflatable is not used in wet or windy conditions (max. wind speed of Force 5 on the Beaufort scale of 19-24 mph, with Force 5 being a fresh breeze when small trees in leaf begin to sway). The hirer must evacuate the children and deflate the inflatable (by switching the fan off at the mains power supply) until conditions improve. The hirer must then re-inflate the inflatable and dry off any excess water before allowing children to return.

On the grounds of health and safety, we reserve the right to cancel any hire agreement if the weather is deemed unfit for the use of the inflatable.

The hirer is responsible for periodically checking that the metal stakes and safety mats are securely in place.

We cannot be held responsible for any damage to underground services by our ground stakes.

The hirer shall not use the equipment for any purpose other than that described in the hire agreement, and shall not sub-hire or use the equipment or allow the equipment to be used for any unlawful purpose or in any unlawful way.

Belvoir Bouncy Castles will collect the equipment at a pre-agreed time. Do not allow anyone else to remove the equipment, and if you are unsure of their identity please call us immediately. Theft of such equipment is becoming increasingly common.

Belvoir Bouncy Castles excludes any liability for injury, loss or damage caused to any person using the equipment contrary to the terms and conditions of this contract.
