A date for your diary, regardless of what your diary might actually say: The early 2020 May Bank Holiday is on Friday 8th May for the special 75th VE Day anniversary!
Apparently over 30 million diaries and calendars display the incorrect date of Monday 4th May, as the government made the announcement back in June 2019 after many had already been printed!
The holiday will allow for three consecutive day’s of #VEDay75 commemorative events from Friday 8th May through to Sunday 10th May 2020.
